The Biotechnology Association of Alabama was formed in 1997 by biotechnology executives and community leaders to provide a unified voice for the emerging biotech industry. The BAA was incorporated as a non-profit trade association, 501(c)(6). The BAA’s first annual meeting was held in 1998 and since that time has grown to encompass over 120 individuals representing over 40 member biotech companies, service and support providers, organizations and individuals from all over the United States. | |
