The 105th Southeast Branch meeting of the American Society for Microbiology (ASM) will be held at The University of Alabama in Huntsville in February 21-23 of 2020. The 2020 SEB ASM meeting will feature a keynote address by Dr. Rita Tamayo from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Register here.
The Southeastern states host numerous scientific groups investigating microbial behavior in a variety of environments, asking questions of human health, ecological, agricultural, and biotechnological importance. The meeting will provide a strong platform for the SEB researchers, including undergraduate and graduate students, to present their work. In addition, 2020 SEB ASM will feature several training and career development sessions and network building opportunities. The detailed schedule is in process of development but will include keynote address, talks, short-talks selected from the abstracts, and several poster sessions.
